Durable medical equipment is equipment that is used after an acute injury or repetitive sports injury to aid in recovery. Urgently Ortho carries this equipment in the office and the provider may recommend one for you during your appointment. For the upper extremity, we have slings, wrist braces, elbow tendonitis straps and others. For the lower extremity, we carry crutches, knee braces, short and tall walking boots, ankle braces, and patella tendon straps. Ask your provider or call our office to further discuss whether durable medical equipment may be right for your injury.
