X-Rays

At Urgently Ortho we have an X-ray machine in the office for quick diagnosis and evaluation of all orthopedic injuries. The machine is a low radiation high-tech machine that gives high quality images of all orthopedic injuries. We can take immediate X-rays of most orthopedic injuries including injuries to the clavicle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, finger, hip, femur, knee, tib/fib, ankle and foot. Each of these can be taken during your appointment then read promptly by the provider for an efficient diagnosis.

Depending on the case, a CT or MRI may be needed for additional understanding of your injury. CTs are often done when a deeper understanding and more detailed measurements of a fracture are needed to make a treatment decision. MRIs are used to diagnose certain soft tissue injuries and to further evaluate ligaments, cartilage, menisci, labrums, intervertebral discs, nerves and other structures. If needed, a quick referral for a CT or MRI will be made to our neighboring imaging facility.
